Beat the Bug helps people combat Coronavirus and reduce pressure on the NHS by staying active, connecting with individuals and communities, reducing stress and boosting immunity. Intelligent Health will never sell, rent or trade email lists or personal data with other companies and businesses.

What data does Intelligent Health collect?

Website Monitoring

When someone visits beatthebug.me we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.

This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Feedback

Beat the Bug Marketing

As part of the registration process for our email newsletter, we collect your name, email address, age and gender. We will send you weekly emails with tips on how to stay healthy, connect and stay up to date on what is happening.

We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. Intelligent Health will delete all data 14 months following sign up.

Intelligent Health uses a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver the Beat the Bug newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Mailchimp servers are located in the United States. Because Mailchimp certifies to the Privacy Shield framework, they can lawfully receive EU data. As Intelligent Health is located within the EU and uses Mailchimp to market to individuals in the EU, we comply with Section 20 of Mailchimp’s Terms of Use and Section 5(E) of Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy.
